End the Trend Towards Socialism
Socialism. This is what the Democratic party is aiming for all over America. And right here, in CT’s 147th District. Democrats are striving to put their deep roots onto this beautiful state of CT. Have you seen the Desegregate CT movement the socialist democrats are trying to pull? Do they not understand that our State government is bloated and zoning issues are purposefully a Local Issue?
CT, home of the first state where the constitution was written.
CT, a state which up until 1991, had no income tax.
CT used to attract people and business.
CT used to be the state people dreamed of living in.
Let’s bring that back! Let’s lower taxes to drive economic growth and innovation!
We have to save our state and not only make Connecticut great again but make Connecticut great forever!
Stamford & Darien (the “Neighborhood of Champions”)
STAMFORD. Dan has lived in Stamford the past ten years; first in Springdale and now in North Stamford with his wife, 2-year-old son and newborn girl. North Stamford residents pay nearly a third of Stamford's property taxes although they make up less than 15 percent of the city's population and in return receive less city services. Stamford residents through Westover, Newfield, & Springdale are also over-burdened with high taxes, low quality and unsafe public education, and poor representation. Let’s allocate public resources more efficiently.
More freedom & lower taxes. Stamford’s lack of quality schools continues to depreciate real estate property values. Dan’s background in finance and commercial real estate, coupled with his knack to streamline & automate processes will bring a fresh voice directly from CT's 147th District to Hartford.
DARIEN. Making up ~10% of CT’s 147th District, Darien’s Republican leadership have produced tremendous school districts & real estate property value appreciation. Darien is doing something right, and Stamford needs to take action. Darien’s public schooling efficacy reflects an actual decrease in their 2019-20 Education budget by 5% since 2015 (-14% compared to the 2018-19 budget). While Stamford’s 2019-20 Education budget increased 15% since 2015 (+5% compared to the 2018-19 budget). Stamford needs to get its Education Budget in check.
Connecticut’s Minimum Budget Requirement prohibits most towns from budgeting less for education than the previous year; we can thank the corrupt politicians in Hartford and your current and former representatives for this. CT public schools need more competition & more operational efficiency to apply for and receive federal grants. Under-performing schools need to be competitively auctioned off.
Let’s renew incentives for Stamfordites & Darienites to continue the trend of home/private schooling, volunteering, and privatization.
CT’s 147th District has a unique geographic layout comprising of Stamford, CT & Darien, CT. Now’s the time for real change and to bring our voice to Hartford. Now’s the time to Make Connecticut Great Again!
Grand List Trend
Did you know through 2019 Stamford’s grand list has decreased 9% in the past 10 years? Residents and businesses are moving out post-haste; this trend needs to be reversed. How? We need to attract private capital that drives grand list growth and lowers mill rates. Let’s cut the state income tax.
Connecticut continues to have a state government trifecta; let’s change that. Let’s vote in capable Republicans and quell the Democratic majority.

Connecticut’s 147th District is the largest district in Stamford that includes North Stamford, Springdale, Westover and the western part of Darien. You can tell, the people are ready for a change from the past few decades of leadership. In 2014, the GOP almost succeeded in defeating incumbent William Tong. Dan is excited to be on the ballot this November. This is a Presidential Election year and it’s very important to get out and vote! Let’s eliminate the state income tax and enjoy the surge of new residents and businesses that’ll move into town.
